CURRENT EVENTS- CURRENT ARTICLE (article must be within 2 weeks of due date)
Current Events are assigned weekly. I assign the topic. You will then find an article on the internet. You NEED the article. It must be copied/pasted to your CE document. You will find the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and WHY in the article. You will highlight that information in your article. It will USUALLY be found in the first couple of paragraphs. Therefore, I do not need multiple pages if your article is several pages long. Email via school gmail. Share via Google DOCs - you must copy and paste the article into your document. You can highlight the information in your article in Google Docs. You will complete the five questions in Full Sentences. It must be emailed to me by Wednesday nights before 10:00PM. You must put your name, Current Event and Topic in the title bar when sending it to me. My gmail address is dmcguire@olaschool2.com . You must use your school gmail ONLY.
You may, and I do suggest you do, send it in before Wednesday night. I will not accept it after 10:00PM on Wed.
See example of questions below. If you do not highlight the article, include the article, or choose not to write the info in full sentences, you will receive a zero. Full sentences mean a subject and a verb.
