Websites are in my Google Classroom under Classroom- b6og1is - the letter o not a zero and the number 1 not the letter l.
Updated - --Legends of Learning - 4 remote websites have been added- Kahn Academy, Legends of Learning, Prodigy, are free and Epic is free for one month. They are free but the parent must sign up. Please see the attached pdf in my google classroom under Classwork.
Parents: Just a few reminders about the work the students will be doing over the next weeks. Hopefully we will be able to return to school after this. School will be closed from March 16 to April 6. It is important for your child to do the work in the yellow folder. Because this is an extended period of time, it is important for your child to keep being challenged while we are not in school.
The students also had been given their usual Friday, March 13 assignments that are written in their memo which included a Journal entry AND preparing for their Chapter 6 Social Studies test - Text p. 152-167 and the Notes p. 21-25. There is a good chapter review on Text p. 166-167 that would be helpful to prepare for the test.
Students have been given a yellow folder with work to do at home.
Students are to continue with weekly Pearson online. A new one for the week of March 23 has been entered. Students will also do the Mini Book Navajo Code Talkers also. The students have been given the activity paper that goes with this. Every student received a copy of this and it is in their Home folder. This Reading activity will be counted as a grade along with the weekly Pearson online which we have done before throughout the year.
Students are to continue with First in Math. 20 minutes a day.

The students may explore these sites which will reinforce their Math skills. The Sadlier website also has math and grammar skills. These websites will be for reinforcement of the skills the students have learned. This could be anything we have done this year. Right now we've been working on fractions with like denominators. There are interesting reading articles posted on the google classroom called Readworks.
